Howdy from the Forsters

We are thrilled to welcome you to the Forster Red Angus Annual Production Sale. Our family has been raising Registered Red Angus Cattle since 1967. We are very blessed to be in this business, and we are excited to show you what we have to offer. I would like to give an extended thank you to all our friends/customers, and family who make this possible for us. It is always great to be a part of the livestock business. We are truly blessed to be able to live the Ag lifestyle.

Forster Red Angus is very reputable breeding program. We have been providing Top Breeding Stock to the commercial and registered seed stock producer in the cattle industry for 48 years.

In our program we start calving in May and wean in November with no creep. We then put the calves on a very high roughage diet until Spring. The calves are then turned out to pasture, like summer yearlings. Prior to the sale we will supplement them some to get them ready for sale day. Our bulls are grown out and NOT finished out. Forster Red Angus believes this will ensure a better breeding bull that will have less maintenance and breed more cows for a longer servicing career. We have a lot of customers that continue to compliment us on how well our bulls stand up and how they last a long time.

Our family continues to flourish. Zane is working in the oilfield. He and his son, Donny, help out on the ranch when they can. Donny is a first grader this year who loves anything to do with the ranch especially “his” horse Beauty AKA his Auntie Kaitlyn’s horse. Seth is also working in the oilfield, and his wife Kristen is busy with her dental practice. Her son Jack is in the 5th Grade and is active in football and basketball. Their son Carter who just turned one is now busy walking. They are also expecting a baby girl in January. They help in their free time on the ranch. Kaitlyn is full time at the ranch with me now, and is starting to grow her own herd. Libby got married in August to Tate. We are happy to welcome him to our family. Libby is currently working full time in Dickinson and helps on the ranch when she can. Tate is also employed in the oilfield. Grandma Sally is doing very well and continues to help us out. As for me I continue to wonder where the time has gone. There never seems to be enough hours in a day.

We have a tremendous offering of 18 month old bulls for you to choose from this year. We look forward to seeing you at the sale!

If any of you need help in your selection feel free to let us know and we will be more than willing to help you out in any way we can. You are also more than welcome to stop by the ranch and view our cattle at any time.

Sincerely,
Ken Forster and Family

Our cattle are a part of who we are, not just what we do!
